Overall: Article is long enough, was newly expanded when nominated, takes a neutral tone, and has no plagiarism problems that I can see. The image doesn't add much to the hook, in my opinion, but it's free and clear. Most of the article's sources (including for the hook) are paywalled, but the Handbook of Texas source confirms the general thrust and most of the details. Assuming good faith on the hook, this article is good to go for DYK! Bryanrutherford0 (talk) 16:14, 31 October 2017 (UTC)
Hi, I came by to promote this, but there's a discrepancy between the hook fact as stated here and as stated in the article. Here you're calling him a "theater owner", while in the article you're calling him a "theater manager". Which is it? I'm unable to check the source. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 23:02, 31 October 2017 (UTC)
He was also an owner and the source does not say when he added air conditioning, just that he was the first.Zigzig20s (talk) 23:08, 31 October 2017 (UTC)
OK, thanks. I tweaked the article. Restoring tick per Bryanrutherford0's review. Yoninah (talk) 23:12, 31 October 2017 (UTC)
