Kala Alexander

[edit]
  • ... that professional surfer Kala Alexander was arrested for assault after beating up a man who ran over and killed his dog?

  • QPQ is a bit on the old side, but it verifies. Article is new, meets size requirements, content verifies, and passes copyvio check. However, I'm a bit hesitant on clearing the hook since it's on the cusp of neutrality and the article is about a living person (see Wikipedia:Did you know#Content). I'd suggest changing to a different hook to avoid any WP:BLP issues. ~ Cyclonebiskit (chat) 23:11, 14 February 2016 (UTC)
  • @Cyclonebiskit: Thanks for the review! Upon second thought, I completely agree with you. It's better to be safe than sorry with WP:BLP issues. I've struck in favor of an ALT1 that showcases his good side: -- Tavix (talk) 00:46, 15 February 2016 (UTC)
ALT1: ...that professional surfer Kala Alexander is vice president of an organization that gives children with cystic fibrosis surfing lessons?
  • Much better; new hook is good to go! ~ Cyclonebiskit (chat) 00:54, 15 February 2016 (UTC)
