K2 (tax scheme)
[edit]- ...
that a famous British comedian allegedly used a Jersey based K2 tax scheme to only pay 1% tax?
- ALT1:... that the K2 tax scheme was called morally wrong by British Prime Minister David Cameron as it was used for tax avoidance?
- Reviewed: Herbert Schneider (philosopher)
- Comment: The original is deliberately vague to avoid a possible BLP issue. I'm happy to use the name if others feel its OK

- Article is new enough (created and nominated today), long enough, written in neutral tone and otherwise appears compliant with policy. Article is well-sourced and appears free of copyright issues and close paraphrasing, although a couple of the sources are subscription only. Both hooks are short and snappy. I have suggested a further ALT2 hook. QPQ noted. Good to go, with best hook still to be identified. Drchriswilliams (talk) 17:16, 13 August 2016 (UTC)
ALT2:... that the The Times published details of 1,000 high earners who had avoided paying tax through the K2 tax scheme, leading to the UK's Prime Minister David Cameron calling the scheme morally wrong?
- I pulled this from prep 2 because the hook and article state that the scheme is legal, but this source from the article states that its legality is under investigation. The article also had a potential BLP issue in the lede. Gatoclass (talk) 17:32, 26 August 2016 (UTC)

- @The C of E: I notice that some of the sources are not dated in the article, but only have retrieval dates. Could you please add the dates these stories were published so I can better assess the state of play with regards to legality. Thanks, Gatoclass (talk) 07:05, 27 August 2016 (UTC)
