Jotnian
[edit]- ... that Jotnian sedimentary rocks (example pictured) are the oldest known sediments in the Baltic area that have not been subject to the geological process of metamorphism?
5x expanded by Lappspira (talk). Self-nominated at 19:10, 17 August 2015 (UTC).
- 5x expansion began on 16 August. 9,472 characters 'readable prose'. Copyvio check shows one possible violation but after reviewing seems fine. Hook is good, with inline citation. QPQ not done. Image is CC. FunkyCanute (talk) 12:31, 20 August 2015 (UTC)
- What does QPQ means and what does it mean that the image is CC? Lappspira (talk) 12:38, 20 August 2015 (UTC)
- QPQ stands for quid pro quo. When an editor nominates an article for DYK, that person should review another nomination. This is to ensure that all nominations get reviewed. CC is creative commons, so no issue there. Once you've reviewed another nomination, come back here, say which one you've reviewed and then I - or someone else - will give the green light for your hook. I hope that helps. Any other questions, please ask here or on my talk page. FunkyCanute (talk) 13:50, 20 August 2015 (UTC)
- If, at the time a nomination is promoted to the main page, its nominator has fewer than five DYK credits (whether or not self-nominated) then the nomination is exempt from QPQ. . I have never nominated anything before are I exempt? —Lappspira (talk) 14:42, 20 August 2015 (UTC)
- Anyway, I reviewed 51 Eridani. Lappspira (talk) 08:22, 21 August 2015 (UTC)
