Jonas Pierre
[edit]... that basketball player Jonas Pierre recorded more than ten rebounds in five of nine games in the Portuguese League?

- Comment: I think the fact that he was the 2013 NBL league leader in blocks is much more interesting than the fact that he had five games where he recorded double-digit rebounds. Therefore, I would like to propose the following:
- ALT1: ... that basketball player Jonas Pierre was the NBL Canada blocks leader in 2013?
- Let me know what you think. Best, -- Notecardforfree (talk) 08:47, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
- I am OK with that. TempleM (talk) 14:21, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for your flexibility. Unfortunately, I can't approve my own hook, so we'll have to wait for another editor to review. Best, -- Notecardforfree (talk) 15:08, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
- I am OK with that. TempleM (talk) 14:21, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
- The article is fully referenced, neutral and there is no close paraphrasing. ALT1 is interesting and verified through online sources. QPQ done. Good to go. FrogmanOfTheSahara (talk) 22:17, 5 September 2015 (UTC)
Length OK; newness OK, no copyvio etc (though it is hard to avoid some similarity in the text when you are doing "6 of this thing and 4 of that thing" etc.); QP done; it looks like the ALT1 hook is preferred so I've struck the original, but although the source cited for the hook has Pierre at the top of the list by average blocks, Sylvania Watkins has more blocks. Do you want to add "average" in there somewhere or would basketball fans sneer and say "Obviously" in a sarcastic tone? Basketball statistics make riveting reading for me, remind me to rub soap in my eyes if I start reviewing another basketball nom; just joking, each to their own. - @Belle: To be considered the season's "blocks leader," a player must have the highest blocks average (as long as they are eligible). You can see this at the NBA blocks leaders article. Thus I believe the hook can remain the same. TempleM (talk) 21:12, 25 September 2015 (UTC)
