John A. Willox, Liverpool Everton by-election, 1892
[edit]( Back to T:TDYK )
( Article history links: )
- ... that Liverpool journalist John A. Willox (pictured), the winner of the 1892 Everton by-election, had become a newspaper editor at the age of 21?
- Reviewed: Jumbo Jet (Six Flags Great Adventure) and Jumbo Jet (Morey's Piers)
- Comment: Note that although the article John A. Willox relies quite heavily on his obituary in The Times newspaper, that obituary was published 117 years ago and is therefore in the public domain. So I see no copyright issues. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs)

- New enough, long enough, neutral, well-sourced etc. Copying (paraphrased) from the Times obit is o.k. legally since the source is out of copyright in the U.S. Given the subject, status in other jurisdictions is very unlikely to be relevant in practice to WP free use objectives. Good to go. Aymatth2 (talk) 01:48, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
