Jewish war conspiracy theory
[[File:|140px|Nazi propaganda poster claims that "He is to blame for the war!" |alt=Illustration with a hand pointing downward at a well-dressed man wearing a yellow badge, with bold text overtop. ]]
- ... that, according to Nazi propaganda (pictured), the Jews started World War II? Source: According to Nazi propaganda, "A historical subject called "international Jewry" had launched World War II with the intent of bringing about the "Bolshevization" of the world. It would fail. Instead, Nazi Germany would retaliate for this aggression and annihilate the Jews. It would wage a "war" against the Jews in response to the "war" the Jews had started." 10.1093/hgs/dci003

- Quick note that the proposed hook image is under a deletion request, to which the DYK nominator promptly replied. I agree with the DYK nominator's comment that a touch-up of a CC-by-SA image must itself be CC-by-SA (that's what share-alike means) and cannot have additional copyright. – Reidgreg (talk) 20:09, 6 August 2020 (UTC)
- Approve ALT0: Article created within 7 days of nomination, is long enough, well cited, and neutral. Some fairly large Earwig numbers due to large quotes, but I feel the quotes are the way to go to prevent reinterpretation. QPQ verified. Picture is in article, displays well and is tagged with a CC license. Hook is formatted, of good size, neutral, and broadly interesting. Hook fact cited in article (end of the first paragraph of section World War II). – Reidgreg (talk) 20:09, 6 August 2020 (UTC)
- Hi there, I've stumbled across to promote but the image is still proposed for deletion. Is it alright if this proceeds without one? @Buidhe:, @Reidgreg: VincentLUFan (talk) (Kenton!) 09:50, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
- Vincent60030, Commons files are often up for deletion for several months, regardless of the merit of the deletion proposal. Since the file is not going to be deleted (the german archive says it is freely licensed), I don't see the problem with promoting with the image. (t · c) buidhe 09:58, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
