Jesse Alexander (Canadian football)
[edit]- ... that Canadian football linebacker Jesse Alexander was nominated for the Presidents' Trophy as the nation's best defensive player, but played only two games of professional football?

- The article is new and long enough. No copyvio detected (citations are mostly from offline sources) and is neutral. QPQ done as well. Hook is interesting, short, and cited with two offline sources AGF. Although, it is not clearly stated in the article whether Alexander played only two professional football games prior his nomination so I suggest you make it clearer for the readers. :) 001Jrm (talk) 03:31, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
- @001Jrm: Thanks for the review. Alexander didn't play two games prior to his nomination, just two games total. The interesting thing about this is that one of the choices for the best defensive Canadian player of the year had a very short career in the CFL. In America, it would be like someone being nominated for the Heisman Trophy but playing just a few games in the National Football League. It's very unusual. I've done a slight copyedit in the article. ~ RobTalk 05:20, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
