Jean Swank
[edit]- ...
that astrophysicist Jean Swank (pictured) taught physics in Ankara, Turkey, before joining NASA?
- Reviewed: NGC 5585
2x expanded and sourced (BLP) Expanded by Doctree (talk). Self nominated at 01:14, 8 July 2013 (UTC).
- I'm confused about what the interesting part of the hook is supposed to be. Is it that she taught in Turkey, taught physics, taught physics in Turkey, or joined NASA? The study of physics fits well into NASA. SL93 (talk) 04:27, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
- This is a copy of a comment from the nominator's talk page - "Hi, in order to eligible for the 2× BLP exception in DYK, an article must have had no references at all before expansion began. This is not the case for your nomination: Template:Did you know nominations/Jean Swank. However, you've almost expanded it the "normal" 5× amount. It was 526 prose characters before expansion, and it's now 2547. So, if you can add just another 83 characters, it will be a full five times expansion." SL93 (talk) 04:29, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
- That comment was from me, and after receiving it, Doctree sufficiently expanded the article, so that it's currently 5.6×. I've struck the 2× BLP notation above, as the regular 5× expansion requirement has been satisfied. MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 06:20, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
