Japanese ironclad Fusō

[edit]

Fusō after her modernization in the early 1890s

  • ... that the Japanese ironclad Fusō (pictured) sank after colliding with two ships during a storm when her anchor chain broke on 29 October 1897?

Created/expanded by Sturmvogel 66 (talk). Self nominated at 11:03, 12 April 2014 (UTC).

  • This article is an approximately fivefold expansion but would qualify for DYK anyway, if it was marginally too short, as it has now become a GA. It was nominated within the correct time span and the hook is cited to an off line source. I doubt there are any policy issues but I cannot check this to any degree because the sources are almost all off line. I would have thought that the hook should name the year rather than the full date. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 12:45, 16 April 2014 (UTC)
