Japanese export porcelain
[edit]- ... that from 1660 to 1700, the majority of Japanese porcelain was made to be exported (example pictured)? "... the vast majority of production was for export", Lerner, Martin, Blue and White Early Japanese Export Ware, para 2 of "The Arita Export Porcelain Industry", 1978, Metropolitan Museum of Art, full view, no page numbers
5x expanded by Johnbod (talk). Self-nominated at 00:42, 29 August 2018 (UTC).

- Vastly more than 5x expansion, began 8/22, with expansion ongoing, so AFAIK it meets the timeframe
- First section alone meets length reqs.
- Neutral/well written, passes Earwig bot check
- Hook is fine, sourced
- QPQ done
- Image is Public Domain

- @Edwardx and Johnbod: Saw your edits back and forth and IMO, yes, it's better with a comma after 1700. The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 15:35, 2 September 2018 (UTC)
- Ok, added back. Bet the "errors" tinkerers take it out again though. Johnbod (talk) 15:38, 2 September 2018 (UTC)
- No, the comma is accepted. Congratulations! The Rambling Man (talk) 16:05, 2 September 2018 (UTC)
- Of late, I have been tweaking/trimming a lot of hooks early on in the nomination process, to hopefully reduce issues at WP:ERRORS further down the line, and had not even noticed tweaking this one twice. Edwardx (talk) 19:55, 2 September 2018 (UTC)
- And well played to you! The Rambling Man (talk) 20:09, 2 September 2018 (UTC)
