- This article was promoted to good article in the last seven days. Offline sources are accepted in good faith for referencing and close paraphrasing issues. The tone of the article is neutral. QPQ done. Hook verified. One minor issue: the lead discusses the M26 Pershing, Devers role in developing/adopting it, and Devers' desire to see it deployed as part of Overlord. The text doesn't discuss the former; where it discusses the latter it refers to the "T26E1", but that designation isn't explained in the Devers article (it is in the M26 Pershing article) and may be too detailed.
