... that Hungarian veterinarian József Marek, as well as being the first to identify Marek's disease, also developed a remedy for liver fluke in cattle, and a nasogastic tube for treating horse colic?
ALT1:... that Hungarian veterinarian József Marek co-authored a veterinary textbook in German that was translated into more than ten languages and remained in publication for over fifty years?
Reviewed: I haven't reviewed another article yet. This is the first time I've submitted a DYK.
Comment: References for hook are in fifth paragraph of the Career section. References for ALT1 are in the sixth paragraph of the Career section.

Overall: I cannot find the right details in the citations, or I cannot access them, in paras 5 and 6 of the article, so I'm taking the citations in good faith (AGF). No QPQ is required. I have moved the commons category template away from the references section so as to allow two columns there, and I have corrected a couple of typos. (These are minor edits, so they do not affect the review.) Thank you for expanding this article - Marek deserves the recognition given to him here. Storye book (talk) 15:49, 2 January 2020 (UTC)
