Iran Constituent Assembly, 1949
[edit]- ... that the Shah of Iran used public sympathy resulting from a failed assassination attempt to call for a Constituent Assembly in 1949 to increase his royal power?

- Comment: The article is still being expanded but it can stand on its own legs now. I wanted to nominate it for DYK before it got too old for that. Binksternet (talk) 19:29, 17 August 2012 (UTC)

- It should be noted that Kurdo777 tagged the article without first making any specific suggestions on the talk page, nor any bold changes to whatever parts he felt were not neutral. The article is written with more than a dozen scholarly sources and it represents them fairly. It should also be noted that Kurdo777 has a history of tendentious interaction with me. - I see no signs of NPOV problems in this article and it meets all requirements, IMO.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 00:53, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
