... that Igor Matovič (pictured), sworn in today as Prime Minister of Slovakia, campaigned against parliamentary immunity by parking his car in the middle of a street?

- Comment: Cited in article. Is there any possibility of running this hook on 21 March, when he is sworn in? I know I'm late :)

- Interesting bio, on good sources, Slovak sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. The image is licensed, but unlikely to appear on short notice. - The hook mentions middle of the street, the article sidewalk? Not sure if it's the best thing to mention. - Please don't expect us to know what Slovak party abbreviations mean, and introduce them with the full name, better also a link (OĽaNO, Smer). - "denies" seems wrong tense. - I wonder if "early life" is the best header for a para talking about him transferring business to his wife. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:30, 20 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Gerda Arendt:, expanded the lead for ye :) ——SN54129 17:34, 20 March 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you, but that was not in the way of approval, just would have lead to an ugly tag as soon as he appeared ;) - Could you also fix the party concerns, and perhaps propose a more attractive hook. Who cares about a car parked wrong these days, even if immunity is a factor? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:42, 20 March 2020 (UTC)
- Cheers Gerda. I don't know much Czech/Slovak, I'm afraid, so I'd be wary of making things worse...hopefully Buidhe will be along at some point, it would be good to get him on the front page, right-winger or nay. I don't like fiddling with other peoples' hooks (ooh-err missus), but I know what you mean. Perhaps
- ALT1 ... that Igor Matovič (pictured), the new Prime Minister of Slovakia, has been described as both an "eccentric self-made millionaire" and "a media-savvy but unpredictable politician"?Which are all cited, etc., and short enough. It might sound negative, but clearly, the chap takes quirkiness as a compliment :) ——SN54129 18:02, 20 March 2020 (UTC)

... that Igor Matovič (pictured), sworn in today as Prime Minister of Slovakia, was described as an "eccentric self-made millionaire and former media boss"? - ALT3
... that Igor Matovič (pictured), sworn in today as Prime Minister of Slovakia, won popularity with anti-corruption activism but was accused of an improper sale of his business?- @Gerda Arendt:, is that better? Sorry, I'm not thinking of anything else right now. All of the political parties are linked on first mention. The full names in English translation isn't necessarily helpful at understanding their political orientation, though. buidhe 18:04, 20 March 2020 (UTC)
- thank you, approving ALT1, ALT2 and ALT3. ALT1 might be fine in case we can't squeeze him in for tomorrow. Perhaps better with image a few days later, than without tomorrow? - The party Chinese is better, but please untangle "the Ordinary People (Obyčajní ľudia)—or OĽaNO—civic movement". Other minor: "entered the Faculty" might be misunderstood as he began teaching. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:31, 20 March 2020 (UTC)
- Fixed both. buidhe 19:44, 20 March 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you, striking the two that no longer apply, - and really think what I said above: better later with a pic possibility. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:29, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
- Congrats to seeing him pictured on the Main page in the ITN section, but I'm afraid that makes him ineligible for DYK. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:08, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
