Ignacy Skorupka
[edit]- ... that Polish Army chaplain Ignacy Skorupka (pictured) died at the battle of Warsaw?
- Reviewed: Southern Cross (wordless novel)
- Comment: Perhaps a more "cool" DYK can be suggested, something like "was one of the most famous casualties of the said battle", although I cannot find a ref that says exactly that. Still, sources certainly seem to imply that was the case. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 16:13, 22 March 2014 (UTC)
5x expanded by Piotrus (talk). Self nominated at 16:13, 22 March 2014 (UTC).
- This is a five-fold expansion and is new enough and long enough. The hook seems good to me and is cited, in Polish and offline, and the image is appropriately licensed. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:43, 9 April 2014 (UTC)
- Cwmhiraeth, how about

- Looks good to me and is better than the original hook. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:02, 13 April 2014 (UTC)
