Idstein Castle
[edit]- ... that a witches' tower (pictured) is part of Idstein Castle?
- Comment: a bit Halloweenish

- It's new, it's long enough to meet the minimum (though it feels brief to me), and it's neutral, but there are too few citations, most critically in the paragraph about the "witches' tower", since that's the hook. I see no citation either for the identification of that tower, or the fairly bold claim that the tower is a "landmark". I'm on the fence about whether the hook is "hooky" enough: in proximity to Halloween, maybe it would be fun as a DYK on that day, but on its own it doesn't do much for me. The lack of citations for the witches' tower, and for other key pieces of information (the approximate date it was built, the date its interior was completed, etc.) are the real hurdle, though, as I see it. - Thanks for looking! I was in a little rush because of the date. Typical problem with translations from German: they don't have inline citations but books. I live in the town and know that the tower is the landmark, and we have everything Hexen, Hexenmarkt, Hexenbuchladen, but am no RS and will look for a better source. If we don't make it for Halloween I will also look for a different hook. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:12, 27 October 2014 (UTC)

- First paragraph could still use a reference. Hook verified. New enough, long enough. Good to go. Hawkeye7 (talk) 20:39, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
