Idle Thumbs

[edit]
  • ALT1:... that the Idle Thumbs video game culture podcast raised over three times their goal in donations within a week through Kickstarter crowdfunding?

  • Comment: I moved this article to mainspace after expanding it some more today. I've emailed the hosts asking for access to a free use image. Not sure which hook is better in you guys' opinion.

  • At 2004 characters, this article squeaks by the length requirement. I think that it's adequate, but could be expanded. The sources also squeak by; they're exclusively in-house, industry sources. I don't know anything about the gaming industry, but I would think there'd be other sources in different types of outlets about this topic. Both hooks are fine. Prose looks good; no close paraphrasing issues. I believe this could pass as a DYK at the current time, but I highly recommend that you expand and improve it. • What do you mean by "in-house, industry sources"? I've been on the lookout for new news to expand the article and I just added a new section, based on stuff published as recently as yesterday. Axem Titanium (talk) 18:17, 29 March 2012 (UTC)
  • What I mean is that all the sources are gaming mags or webpages. I recommend branching out and finding other sources, like newssources or other types of magazines. It'd give the article more breadth and a different perspective outside the gaming industry. Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 19:43, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
  • It's all right, and shouldn't (I think) get in the way of a DYK. The above are suggestions only. Perhaps a google search would get you more results. Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 16:41, 6 April 2012 (UTC)
  • I will be sure to keep on the lookout for more sources. I've got another ALT on the outside chance the other two are unloved. Axem Titanium (talk) 04:41, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
