House of Soterius von Sachsenheim
[edit]- ... that the Transylvanian Saxon noble family Soterius von Sachsenheim (coat of arms pictured) has its origins in the village Stein (part of Jibert commune, Romania)?
Created by Yarikata (talk). Self nominated at 11:55, 26 May 2013 (UTC).
- New enough. Long enough. But before I approve...why not add a photograph of the family emblem? It's in PD and suitable for the hook. Proudbolsahye (talk) 00:03, 27 May 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks, good idea, I added it (this is my first DYK proposal). Yarikata (talk) 08:56, 27 May 2013 (UTC)
- Almost there! The hook needs to be sourced in the article. Proudbolsahye (talk) 21:18, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
- It is already sourced there, from Der Adel von Siebenbürgen, Siebmacher großes Wappenbuch, volume 34, published in 1898, reprint from 1984, page 219, illustration 155. Additionally, the family tree from the family website gives a detailed ancestry starting from this village. Yarikata (talk) 03:35, 29 May 2013 (UTC)
- Okay goo to go! Proudbolsahye (talk) 18:29, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
