Holy Rosary Cathedral (Semarang)
[edit]- ... that when Japanese forces attempted to seize the Holy Rosary Cathedral (pictured), its bishop said they would have to take his head first?

- I've made some copyedits but overall it looks very good - the sources seem to be fine, it's well written and it's nicely illustrated. One question though, Soegijapranata was only a titular bishop; would it be more correct to refer to him in the hook as an apostolic vicar instead? Prioryman (talk) 17:40, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
- We must have been reviewing this at the same time as I was put into an edit conflict. Anyway, I will post here what I had written:
"Article is recently expanded, hook is long enough and interesting, nominator has reviewed another nomination, hook is well referenced, picture is a bonus. But the nomination here says the bishop, but the article says vicar? If they are the same thing then it doesn't matter. (Little suggestion: in the article, link "removed his head" to Decapitation for clarification)." Aaron • You Da One 17:45, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
- I agree that it needs to be clarified; the guy was a titular bishop but his formal title was apostolic vicar, so we need somehow to clarify this point. Prioryman (talk) 17:52, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
- I was going to put this nomination as a until it is resolved so that it doesn't get sent to the queue before this is amended, as the green tick means it is good to go.Aaron • You Da One 17:55, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
- The hook isn't technically incorrect, it's just a little ambiguous. However, I take your point, so I've changed the symbol accordingly. Prioryman (talk) 18:06, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
- Wow, I've never seen anything like this. Yeah, apolistic vicar / titular bishop will be fine (i.e. ALT1 ... that when Japanese forces attempted to seize the Holy Rosary Cathedral (pictured), its apolistic vicar said they would have to take his head first? or ALT2 ... that when Japanese forces attempted to seize the Holy Rosary Cathedral (pictured), its titular bishop said they would have to take his head first?)
