Holothuria fuscocinerea
[edit]- ... that the elephant trunkfish obtains its nourishment from swallowing sand? Source: "Holothuria fuscocinerea est limnivore*, ce qui signifie qu'elle ingère le sédiment et en retient les nutriments d'origine végétale et animale, les déchets et les bactéries qui y sont contenus."

Overall: interesting article, cited appropriately. Cannot check hook as another language but appears to fit with the other English ones. Whispyhistory (talk) 22:50, 16 March 2018 (UTC)
Copied from User talk:Cwmhiraeth:
It looks as if this might be a case of mistaken identity, your source for the common name is Holothuria fuscopunctata not Holothuria fuscocinerea. Please correct this one way or another ASAP or I will have to pull it, thanks, Gatoclass (talk) 13:12, 23 March 2018 (UTC)
- @Gatoclass: I had cited the wrong IUCN page and I have corrected this in the article and removed the image. Pull it if you like, I am just about to switch off and will be away from my computer for three days. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 13:31, 23 March 2018 (UTC)
- @Gatoclass: Curious that! I intended to write an article on the elephant trunkfish but at some stage got mysteriously diverted into H. fuscocinerea instead of H. fuscopunctata. I have now changed the common name in the article and propose the ALT1 below. Meanwhile the nomination is archived here. Would you like to rescue it?
- ALT1 ... that the ashy pink sea cucumber obtains its nourishment from swallowing sand? Cwmhiraeth (talk) 18:53, 26 March 2018 (UTC)
- @Gatoclass: Please can you rescue this nomination which was archived before you pulled it. (I have now nominated a hook for the entirely different article, H. fuscopunctata, the genuine elephant trunkfish, so do not be distracted by that one.) Cwmhiraeth (talk) 18:42, 1 April 2018 (UTC)
