- This article is new enough and long enough. The image is suitably licensed, the hook facts are cited inline, the article is neutral and I detected no policy issues. A QPQ has been done and I have added User Jmar67 to the credits. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:40, 26 October 2018 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote this, but I don't see anything in the source about him "introducing" these composers; he only added them to the publisher's catalogue. Yoninah (talk) 13:59, 10 December 2018 (UTC)
- We can use ALT1, or say something more cautious, such as "promoted", or simply
- ALT2:
... that Henri Hinrichsen, owner of C. F. Peters in Leipzig (pictured), published music by composers such as Gustav Mahler, Max Reger and Arnold Schönberg?--Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:18, 10 December 2018 (UTC)- ALT2 sounds less hooky. If we go with ALT1, I would like to go with just the musical instruments fact, although there is no citation in the article for the amount of money he donated (200,000 RM). Yoninah (talk) 14:26, 10 December 2018 (UTC)
- How is publishing composers such as Mahler and Schoenberg, who are basically known because of his publications, "less hooky"? + we talk "hookiness" for a man who was murdered in Auschwitz? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:31, 10 December 2018 (UTC)
- If you feel it's so important to note that he was murdered in Auschwitz, why not write a new hook? The fact that he published this music doesn't make him unique; in fact, it sounds like other publishers could have been publishing that music too. Yoninah (talk) 18:21, 10 December 2018 (UTC)
- I don't feel I want to mention the Holocaust in every hook, but it's in the background, so I wouldn't want to say something quirky about him. When a leadiing publisher promotes Mahler and Schönberg, that means "introducing" to me, but what can I do if you find that problematic? - I sourced the donation, but the image wuld go better with publishing. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:28, 10 December 2018 (UTC)
- OK, I see you've added an English-language ref; thank you. It says he was the first in the family business to add these works. So would you like to write:
- ALT0a:
... that Henri Hinrichsen, owner of the music publisher C. F. Peters in Leipzig (pictured), was the first to add works by Gustav Mahler, Max Reger, and Arnold Schönberg to their catalog? - But honestly, why is that hooky?
- What do you think about:
- ALT3:
... that Henri Hinrichsen, owner of C. F. Peters in Leipzig (pictured), published works by contemporaries such as Johannes Brahms and Edvard Grieg, who had a room in his upstairs residence?Yoninah (talk) 22:24, 29 December 2018 (UTC)
- I don't feel understood today, but nevermind. I'd prefer Reger to Brahms who is mentioned much more often on the Main page. The hook reads as if they both had a room, but it was only Grieg. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:31, 29 December 2018 (UTC)

- It's been several weeks now since the last comments here @Yoninah and Gerda Arendt: If no agreement can be reached here, this may have to be marked for closure. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 00:12, 13 January 2019 (UTC)
- Again I feel not understood. I was asked "Would you like to write", and no, I would not like to write the last ALTs. They are better than nothing, - I thought that was clear. Sorry for my lack of English, - perhaps I misunderstood the question.
- OK, I understand you. I think we should wrap this up with your suggestion of using "promoted" instead of "introduced" in ALT0, as follows:
- ALT0b: ... that music publisher Henri Hinrichsen, owner of C. F. Peters in Leipzig (pictured), promoted composers such as Gustav Mahler, Max Reger, and Arnold Schönberg?
- ALT hook ref verified and cited inline. Rest of review per Cwmhiraeth. ALT0b good to go. Yoninah (talk) 14:03, 13 January 2019 (UTC)
