Hector Bell

[edit]

Created by ColonialGrid (talk). Self nominated at 16:17, 4 November 2014 (UTC).

  • There is no citation provided for the fact. Calistemon (talk) 18:04, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
  • Yes there is, that entire paragraph is supported by citation #1 and 2#, but I have moved them forwards for your convenience. ColonialGrid (talk) 18:11, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
  • Sorry to be so pedantic but citation 2 does not mention anything about the introduction of Sunday services and citation 1 only mentions that he "angered the conservative elements of society". Have you got another source or, may be, would you like to alter the hook? Calistemon (talk) 18:31, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
  • I figured this was coming, so have added three cites from The Argus. I hope you find them sufficient. ColonialGrid (talk) 18:38, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
  • Looks good to me now. Date and length of the article verified. I couldn't spot any obvious copyright violations and the article is neutral. Hook is within required length and has proper inline citations now. Calistemon (talk) 18:53, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
  • Cheers Calistemon! Also, sorry if the above comment came off as snarky; that was not at all my intention, but looking at it I think it may. I had looked back through the sources, and thought the same thing as you, so went to find some more substantive citations. If I may ask, could you please move the page to Hector Hercules Bell, most of the literature uses his full name, and it would be in line with WP:COMMONNAME to have that the title (I would do it myself, but am not yet 'autoconfirmed'). (I am also unsure if this template should also be moved as part of the name move) ColonialGrid (talk) 19:01, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
