Hay-a-Park Gravel Pit
- ... that Hay-a-Park Gravel Pit is "one of the most northerly inland breeding populations of reed warbler (pictured) in Britain"? Source: Natural England

- @Storye book: New enough and long enough, QPQ present. I cleaned up the image to use the crop, by the way. Hook seems like a long quote though it is interesting and cited... Is there any way of rephrasing that to not need quotation marks, or perhaps to get an alt? Raymie (t • c) 03:19, 25 December 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you for the review, and for sorting out the image, Raymie. Compliments of the season, by the way!
- ALT1: ... that few reed warblers (pictured) breed as far north as 54° latitude in England, but at Hay-a-Park they do? Source: Natural England Storye book (talk) 11:30, 25 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Storye book: Merry Christmas to you, too! And yes, I much prefer the new hook wording...somewhat clunkier but original and hook-y. Raymie (t • c) 17:12, 25 December 2019 (UTC)
- Update. I have had to move the page "Hay-a-Park nature reserve" to Hay-a-Park Gravel Pit, on the advice of the local naturalists' society, because (1) it has never been designated officially as a nature reserve, and (2) it has always been known locally as Hay-a-Park Gravel Pit. I have updated ALTS 1 and 2 to match. So - admin please update the template to fit this? My apologies for the extra work caused to you by this. Thank you. - This template page has been updated (but does not need to be moved) to reflect the article move. BlueMoonset (talk) 00:40, 20 January 2020 (UTC)
- Promoting the original hook because 54°N is not mentioned in the article text. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:18, 22 January 2020 (UTC)
