HMS Simoom (P225)
[edit]- ... that out of 15 torpedoes fired by HMS Simoom (pictured) during her career, all missed their targets, but three instead hit and sank a destroyer? Source: https://uboat.net/allies/warships/ship/3443.html

- This hook is good and this is a well put-together article. Expansion looks good. Could you clarify for me why uboat.net is a high-quality reliable source? Josh Milburn (talk) 08:51, 26 January 2019 (UTC)
- Yes, sure. Many Good Articles have uboat.net as main source, see Talk:German submarine U-43 (1939)/GA1. There's also a page about this at User:Bellhalla/uboat.net reliability. Uboat.net is cited by several highly reliable book sources and thus is considered reliable as well. L293D (☎ • ✎) 12:54, 26 January 2019 (UTC)
- Ok, happy to accept that. Josh Milburn (talk) 15:39, 26 January 2019 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote this, but the expansion does not meet the criteria of Rule A5. If the whole "Design and description" section was copied from an article that is more than 7 days old, the copied text must be expanded fivefold. Currently the page is 5929 characters long. The copied text is 1679 char. Therefore an additional 2466 characters needs to be added to the page to bring this up to a 5x expansion. Yoninah (talk) 16:38, 21 February 2019 (UTC)
