Greenside Mine

[edit]

Greenside's collapsed holes

  • ALT1:...have a go

  • Comment: This is one day out of date, but I suggest that we should not lose this article

  • This substantial article is new enough and long enough. The article is neutral. The hook is sourced offline and nearly all the references are offline so I made no assessment as to whether there are any copyright issues. The image is in the public domain but the hook is rather uninteresting and the image is very peripheral to the subject of the article. It is difficult to find a good hook, but how about this, for which a different picture would be required:

ALT1 ... that large holes on the side of a Cumbrian mountain (pictured) show where 18th-century mine workings in Greenside Mine have collapsed? Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:07, 3 November 2014 (UTC)

Cool - I've changed the image, can someone tick the new hook? Victuallers (talk) 15:15, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
  • The image isn't great in small format, but the ALT is very good. Offline hook ref AGF and cited inline. ALT1 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 23:34, 6 November 2014 (UTC)
