  • Hallo, thanks for reviewing the article. Well, this note is the only one belonging to the article before I expanded it, and I copy-pasted the referenced sentence for the hook. Unfortunately, I don't have this guide too, but I found a slightly different information at the grand bazaar web site. I changed the hook and the reference in accordance.
ALT1... that the Grand Bazaar (pictured) in Istanbul, one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, attracts between 250,000 and 400,000 visitors daily?
Is it ok so?
Thank you very much for expanding this article which topic certainly deserved the expansion you performed. The text of the hook is very close paraphrasing of the original text on the web site you provided and contain assertion (the oldest) which is not supported by the source. I checked on the internet and found numerous nonacademic web sites which support this assertion, but then I noticed other bazaars like Tabriz Bazaar which is more than 100 years older than Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. Therefore I propose to slightly paraphrase the ALT1 hook and to remove oldest which is not sourced?--Antidiskriminator (talk) 11:35, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
Thanks, actually the article before the expansion was a shame... :-) OK! Then let's say so:
ALT2... that the Grand Bazaar (pictured) in Istanbul, one of the largest covered markets in the world, attracts between 250,000 and 400,000 visitors daily?
Is it ok for you? Alex2006 (talk) 11:41, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for your cooperation. Since there is no copyright notice on the website you used for a source and after you removed the "oldest" assertion I think that this issues are resolved. I will check the text of the article one more time before I pass it finally. --Antidiskriminator (talk) 12:31, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
Ok, and thanks for the review! Alex2006 (talk) 12:59, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
The article meets core policies and guidelines regarding its neutrality and citing sources. Since most of the sources are not available online I will AGF regarding source interpretation and possible copyright violations. The hook is interesting and properly cited. I think that the article could use some copy-editing but that is only improvement opportunity, not an issue of this review.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 14:48, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
