  • ... that when the Irish Bronze Age Gleninsheen gorget (pictured) was found in 1930 by a local hunting rabbits, he brought the "queer looking thing" to his uncle, who would not let it be kept his house?Source: Gleeson, Dermot. • The article looks good. It is long enough and comfortably meets the policy guidelines. An interesting topic and well-researched. The hook is cited in the article. My one very small quibble is that Connolan's uncle wouldn't let the object be kept in the house rather than let in at all. It's a small difference, and I'm probably placing too much emphasis on it since the story is second-hand in any case, but could perhaps suggest that the gorget could be brought into the house temporarily as long as it didn't stay there. • Thanks, and agree re hook...will tweak. Ceoil (talk) 19:30, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
  • In case the edit summary gets missed, User:Mandarax noted that the hook is currently 227 characters long so would need to be trimmed by 27. It's hard to decide what to trim, but perhaps the mention of rabbit hunting could be left out? Richard Nevell (talk) 18:20, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
  • I was off by one. According to the "Hook length" tool in the DYK toolbox, it's actually 226. MANdARAX  XAЯAbИAM 18:41, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
