Giulia Bongiorno
[edit]- ... that Giulia Bongiorno, a defense lawyer in both the Giulio Andreotti trials and the Amanda Knox trial, is now the Italian Minister of Public Administration? Source: New York Times: "Mr. Sollecito’s family has hired one of Italy’s top lawyers, Giulia Bongiorno, a member of Parliament who has successfully defended the seven-time prime minister Giulio Andreotti in Mafia trials.", Arkansas Democrat-Gazette: "The Cabinet also includes defense attorney Giulia Bongiorno as the new minister for public administration. A center-right lawmaker, she is known for defending ex-Premier Giulio Andreotti against mafia collusion charges and for defending the ex-boyfriend of American student Amanda Knox against murder charges."
- Reviewed: Waived due to exception, but, if not, Mississippi's 4th congressional district special election, 1981.
- Comment: Article created in my userspace on 6 June, moved to mainspace on 6 June. I'm certainly open to new and better hooks.

- New article, more than long enough, no copyvios, neutrally written without BLP violations. The article is well sourced, and references are formatted correctly as inline citations. The hook is not too long, and is stated as a number of facts that all are supported by inline citations in the article. Only question: should the nomination be updated with a photo of Bongiorno? But else, this is ready to be ticked. Sam Sailor 21:46, 17 June 2018 (UTC)
- In regards to QPQ, this appears to be nom's first DYK. Sam Sailor 21:48, 17 June 2018 (UTC)
- Hi, Sam. I'm honestly unsure: there's technically an open question on Bongiorno's talk page about changing the picture, so... It's up to the community, I think. —Javert2113 (Let's chat! Contributions) 23:10, 17 June 2018 (UTC)
