George Oprescu
[edit]- ... that while working as a French teacher, future Romanian art critic George Oprescu denounced the German occupation, prompting his arrest and deportation to an internment camp in Bulgaria?
- ALT1:... that Romanian art historian George Oprescu both collaborated with the Communist regime and hired figures it had marginalized for his Art History Institute?

Let me try properly reviewing this:
- There is already to be a QPQ for this
- Done within a 5-day range
- Has more than 1,500 characters of readable prose
- Is a new article
- There appears to be sufficient sourcing for every paragraph
- Hook is stated and apparently appropriately sourced
- Apparently no copyvio
- Apparently no other problems
Thus, it appears that this DYK? nomination is already good to go right now! Very nice job! Hopefully I have reviewed this DYK? nomination correctly. Also, for the record, I myself prefer the original hook for this DYK? nomination. Futurist110 (talk) 00:39, 23 August 2014 (UTC)

- Actually, no, there aren't. The only thing the DYK rules have to say about redlinks is: "It is fine for articles… to have red links" and "No redlinks in the hook" (not an issue here). Moreover, the linking is in keeping with the spirit of WP:RED: I sincerely believe (based on my own research) that each of the linked terms is likely to have an article at some point in the future, although I admit one or two may be borderline.
- Anything else? - Biruitorul Talk 14:21, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- No. Actually, the article is very nice. I'm restoring Futurist's tick, although it should be an AGF icon for offline/foreign-language sources. Are you familiar with Harvard references, which would directly link the footnote to the bibliography? See Help:Shortened footnotes. Best, Yoninah (talk) 19:15, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
