Geographical name changes in Turkey
[edit]- ... that approximately 28,000 topographic names were changed from their native names to new Turkified renditions (map pictured) under various government policies?
Improved to Good Article status by EtienneDolet (talk). Self nominated at 22:33, 25 December 2014 (UTC).
- Article promoted to GA on Dec 24. Long enough, neutral and no copyvio needed. Hook needs to be cited. Several paragraphs need to have atleast one citation. Tweaked hook, add word approximately based on the article. --Carlojoseph14 (talk) 11:23, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
- Comment: I was the GA reviewer who promoted this article. I reworded the hook to be a little less awkward. Daniel Case (talk) 19:09, 7 January 2015 (UTC)
- Carlojoseph14 I have added the sources. Étienne Dolet (talk) 05:14, 11 January 2015 (UTC)
- Since hook is already cited, I'll pass the nomination, AGF. Although I encourage a short second review before transferring it to the queue. --Carlojoseph14 (talk) 05:28, 11 January 2015 (UTC)
