- The article meets requirements, and is free from close paraphrasing. The nominator only has two prior nominations so a QPQ is not required. However, I have concerns about the hook, as it may not make much sense to non-Indian readers who may not know the significance of these awards. Personally, I could suggest that a hook solely about the Padma Shri that notes that it's India's fourth-highest civilian award be proposed. Either that or a hook about the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award which mentions that she's the first Telangana dancer to receive it, while also mentioning that the award the most prestigious Indian dance award. Either suggestion could probably give more context for the benefit of non-Indian readers as to how her achievements are significant. - I think those are much better hooks than the original, but I think I'll also ask for a second opinion here with regards to reader intrigue. I've struck ALT1 per the above discussion, so I'm only leaving ALTs 2 and 3 for consideration. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 02:43, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
- alt3 seems a little cluttered to me. would the following work instead?
alternatively, here is something completely different.alt3a: ... that the first dancer from Telangana to be conferred with India's highest award for performing arts, Gaddam Padmaja Reddy, is an exponent of Kuchipudi classical dance?

- ALT4 is pretty good! Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 12:03, 21 December 2022 (UTC)

- Since no one else has chimed in here I'm going ahead and approving ALT4 only. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 01:35, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
