GMMSF Box-Office Entertainment Awards
[edit]- ... that the 39th annual GMMSF Box-Office Entertainment Awards ceremony was referred to as the 40th due to supersition?
5x expanded by 001Jrm (talk). Self nominated at 05:39, 29 May 2014 (UTC).
- The article was nominated within 5 days of its expansion. By my count, the article had either 968 or 1,622 characters of prose before the expansion started (depending on whether the 4 "major awards" are counted as a list or as prose) and 6,900 characters of prose at the end of the expansion. This makes it either a 4.25x or a 7.13x expansion not counting tables and lists of categories, so I'm willing to say that it counts. The hook fact is cited and is actually mentioned in the cited reference. (Additionally, I was able to find other sources that mention 39 being considered unlucky in the Philippines.) Inline citations are used throughout the article and appear to come mostly from respected news and entertainment media of the country. This looks like the user's first DYK nomination, so no QPQ is needed. I went ahead and fixed some grammar issues in the article and made the hook more concise, so it does not appear to violate copyrights or other core policies.
