Furina diadema
[edit]... that Furina diadema is a small, venomous and widely distributed snake in Australia?

- Comment First, it'd be nice to mention its alternative name "Red-naped snake" as it's commonly known by the public. And I don't think the hook is interesting enough to attract the readers. Zhaofeng Li [talk... contribs...] 07:18, 7 October 2014 (UTC)
- : adequate expansion, > 5x since 10/4-10/6. A photo would be nice.
- Consider ALT1: ... that the red-naped snake (pictured) is a small, venomous snake, listed as threatened in Victoria? —Gaff ταλκ 02:16, 13 October 2014 (UTC)
- New reviewer needed, and that review should include the "within policy" checks including close paraphrasing, plus a check of the image. If you're partly involved, Josve05a, then you should not be giving this final approval. Gaff, as you've provided ALT1, which has a new fact, you shouldn't be giving it final approval either. - This article meets the DYK criteria of newness and length. Going with ALT1 which is well cited. The image has an appropriate licence. The article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 08:46, 10 November 2014 (UTC)
