Fuck Off (song)

[edit]

Created/expanded by Mattgirling (talk). Self nom at 21:38, 17 September 2012 (UTC)

New enough, long enough. The article on the band doesn't mention that they were called the Backstreet Boys, but Wayne County and the Backstreet Boys, and they'd changed their name from that when it was released (and when it was recorded?). Obviously this isn't as funny as the Backstreet Boys, but is it too misleading? The reference giving the old name is offline, to I'll AGF on that. Secretlondon (talk) 04:48, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
There's a Google Books snippet preview here, which refers to "The Backstreet Boys" (in bold, without the prefix of Wayne County) and verifies the song was written (and presumably a recording of it made) before the name change. I agree the hook may be a little misleading—though that's my intention to make it more readable—but if it's a verification issue, hopefully that preview will help. Thanks, matt (talk) 13:11, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

Date, length and hook all OK. Good to go. The C of E. God Save The Queen! (talk) 11:44, 26 September 2012 (UTC)

Cheers—is Secretlondon (as original reviewer) happy to give this the go-ahead too? matt (talk) 12:57, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
If the CofE is fine I'm okay. Secretlondon (talk) 19:48, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
