Closing note: Five days have past and the article has only been expanded to 3,721 characters, still short of the required ~18.6kB. Even if more time was given, I cannot envision how the article can be expanded to that size.
French Toast
[edit]- ... that in France, Belgium, and New Orleans, French toast is called pain perdu, which means "lost bread" in French?
5x expanded by Royce Cabrera (talk), Shannon Daniels (talk), Lauren Lloyd (talk). Nominated by 128.84.127.160 (talk) at 17:56, 1 October 2013 (UTC).
- Insufficient recent expansion. Nominated article contained 3726 characters of readable text on September 1. Currently the article contains 3681 characters, well short of the ~18.6K needed to qualify for 5x expansion (see Wikipedia:Did you know/Supplementary guidelines#Supplementary article length rules for additional information about the expansion requirement for preexisting articles). --Allen3 talk 19:29, 1 October 2013 (UTC)
