Flatline (song)
[edit]... that "Flatline", a song by Mutya Keisha Siobhan (pictured), "build[s] from Robyn-style melodrama into fist-pumping stadium fare", as backing vocals get progressively louder and drums stronger?
- Comment: I'm not sure if I need to do QPQ yet, please confirm!
Improved to Good Article status by Prism (talk). Self nominated at 21:43, 9 February 2014 (UTC).
- QPQ not required. Image is free but not used in the article, so shouldn't be part of this nomination. Article is newly-promoted to GA so meets recency criteria and the review at GA checked for copyvio, close paraphrasing etc. I think the hook is not good, per the rules it should be "a definite fact" but the offering is just an opinion of a reviewer. Please propose alternative hooks for consideration. C679 22:13, 13 February 2014 (UTC)

... that indie rock band Spector member Fred Macpherson sings backing vocals in "Flatline", a song by Mutya Keisha Siobhan?prism △ 17:05, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
- Not hooky enough. Macpherson isn't even notable enough to have his own page on Wikipedia. Per the rules, hooks should be "short, punchy, catchy, and likely to draw the readers in to wanting to read the article". To other editors watching this page, please propose ALT hooks if you have any good suggestions. C679 12:21, 15 February 2014 (UTC)

Not sure if I can suggest my own hooks, but he isn't the writer per se, but the co-writer. Just to be precise. Please update. C679 22:30, 22 February 2014 (UTC)
