First Day Hikes
[edit]- ... that for New Year's Day, tens of thousands of Americans (some pictured) take a hike?
- ALT1:... that First Day Hikes is a program of free, guided hikes (one pictured) offered by the fifty state park systems of the United States each New Year's Day?

- Article is new enough, long enough, no copyvios, main hook tickles my sense of humour and is sourced to appropriate figures (the source says "more than 62,000" while the article says just "62,000" so that might want to be fixed). Image is appropriately licensed and is of the topic in question. Now let's "hike" it up to a queue... Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 22:41, 20 March 2018 (UTC)
