- @Muboshgu: Date and length fine. However with the hooks, I will have to focus on ALT1 as the original is a potential BLP issue. The problem with ALT1 is that the inline source says that the book is based on 200 interviews, but doesn't say that Wolff conducted them all. QPQ is needed too. No close paraphrasing. Just needs those looked at before I can take another look, please ping me when its ready. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 09:05, 4 January 2018 (UTC)
- I was afraid someone might think the first hook proposal was a BLP problem. I'm thinking of new hooks. – Muboshgu (talk) 14:46, 4 January 2018 (UTC)
- ALT1 struck. ALTs 2 and 3 added. I'm not certain that the main hook proposed should be struck. It's not a violation of NPOV, V, or NOR. It's clearly Bannon's opinion, which is being reported on as the biggest bombshell to come from the book. I'd probably prefer ALT 3 if that's not persuasive. – Muboshgu (talk) 16:37, 4 January 2018 (UTC)
- Go with ALT3.Volunteer Marek (talk) 16:02, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
- Although I'd add "of Michael Wolff's Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House" in there both for clarity and to give credit. I think that still keeps it under the character limit.Volunteer Marek (talk) 16:04, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
- QPQ done @The C of E:, and I'll make one more push for the Bannon hook. It's the most reported on part of the book's release, leading to his current mea culpa, trying to claim he was referring to Paul Manafort and not Don Jr. It's clearly presented as opinion, neutrally so, no OR or SYNTH at all present. – Muboshgu (talk) 17:47, 8 January 2018 (UTC)
- ALT4 added. – Muboshgu (talk) 17:58, 8 January 2018 (UTC)
- I am approving ALT2 I think it is a very controversial issue and I am mindful that this will be on the main page so we probably shouldn't be giving WP:UNDUE weight to his opinions so I m approving the hook that would cause less drama. - @The C of E: Okay, fair enough. Do you think ALT3 is might produce too much drama? I think it's more interesting than ALT2, personally. – Muboshgu (talk) 18:19, 8 January 2018 (UTC)
