Fight the New Drug
[edit]- ... that anti-pornography organization Fight the New Drug was founded by a group of Mormons? Source: "Fight the New Drug (FTND), a Utah-based anti-porn organization with an all-Mormon founding team." and "its founders are all Mormon, and its facts rely on claims from Mormon author Donald Hilton’s He Restoreth My Soul: Understanding and Breaking the Chemical and Spiritual Chains of Pornography through the Atonement of Jesus Christ."
- ALT1:... that in 2015, anti-pornography organization Fight the New Drug posted 100 billboards in the San Francisco Bay Area stating "Porn Kills Love"? Source: "If you live in the Bay Area, the “Porn Kills Love” billboards are hard to miss. Local news outlets spotted 100 of them earlier this month, correctly identifying their sudden appearance as a new campaign from Fight the New Drug (FTND)"
- ALT2:... that Fight the New Drug's advocacy against pornography uses what The Atlantic described as "a just-some-of-the-facts approach"? Source: "Less transparent than an openly ideology-driven strategy, the just-the-facts approach is rather a just-some-of-the-facts approach."

- The article appears to have been deleted, and to have a history of being deleted - Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fight the New Drug. Probably WP:DRV and more discussion is needed as to the long term eligibility of the article topic, before it can be brought back and reviewed properly. Spokoyni (talk) 11:02, 13 April 2019 (UTC)
- I'd like to place this nomination on hold pending the outcome of this article. If the speedy deletion is not overturned (which I think it should be), I intend to take this to DRV. Thanks. feminist (talk) 13:07, 13 April 2019 (UTC)

Requesting a new review because the deletion was overturned. feminist (talk) 08:03, 21 April 2019 (UTC)
- for the first and third hooks at least. Looks good overall, article appears to meet all criteria now that the DRV has concluded. Facts in original hooks and ALT2 align with the sources. The only thing about ALT1 is that the source says that "Local news outlets spotted 100 of them" which is a little different to the statement that the group actually posted only 100 of them - there may have been more that were not spotted by the news outlets. It's just a minor quibble and overall I would say this is good to go now. Spokoyni (talk) 13:43, 22 April 2019 (UTC)
