Evolve (video game)

[edit]
  • ... that a financial analyst considered Evolve "too niche to reach a wide audience"?

Improved to Good Article status by AdrianGamer (talk). Self-nominated at 15:02, 17 January 2016 (UTC).

  • Recently promoted to GA, within policy, no copy-vio detected, original hook is interesting and verified, and QPQ's done, too. I couldn't confirme ALT1 in the article. I would like to request Yoninah to promote the nomination for the special occasion on February 10 per nominator's request. Good to go. --Captain Assassin! «TCG» 16:24, 22 January 2016 (UTC)
Sure, @Captain Assassin!:, but you could do it, too! Yoninah (talk) 23:09, 23 January 2016 (UTC)
  • @AdrianGamer: would you like to add a date marker in the hook? For example:
  • ALT2: ... that a financial analyst considered Evolve, released one year ago today, to be "too niche to reach a wide audience"?
  • ALT3: ... that Evolve, released one year ago today, was envisioned as the video game version of Aliens vs. Predator? Yoninah (talk) 23:14, 23 January 2016 (UTC)
  • OK. While you had numerous cites saying that the game would be released on February 10, 2015, I added a cite saying it was released on that date. Rest of review per Captain Assassin! ALT2 and ALT3 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 12:33, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
  • Upon re-review of the hooks, I am striking ALT3, because Graves really doesn't say that; the Aliens vs. Predator game was mentioned by the interviewer, but Graves didn't assert that "much of the music was inspired by" it. I've added the inline cite for ALT2. Yoninah (talk) 13:05, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
