  • Hi Casliber, you contribute to excellent main page content for Wikipedia; thanks for all the great reading and for working so well with all contributors to an article, including IP editors. I think this is too vague. Almost everything is threatened in some way by climate change; the how and why tend to have more to do with the species than the mere mention of the threat. This species' ecology makes the threat potentially more imminent than for other species, but I don't have time to do the research to make a solid sentence or catch-hook out of it. 68.107.141.42 (talk) 21:53, 23 March 2012 (UTC)
  • Yeah I know - this one grows in frost hollows, which are directly threatened by a warming climate. I was trying to think of a way to include that but not sure if it's too wordy....maybe

ALT1 ... that the black gum is threatened by global warming as it is largely restricted to frost hollows?

I think it says something interesting about its habitat. And Eucalyptus and frost hollows are not two things I'd normally put together, so it would make me curious to read the article. 68.107.141.42 (talk) 00:53, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
