Estadio Tecnológico
[edit]- ... that Estadio Tecnológico (pictured) is to be replaced by a new sporting complex and smaller stadium? (See sources on Centro Deportivo Borrego/new Borregos Salvajes stadium)
- ALT1:... that Estadio Tecnológico (pictured) hosted all three group stage matches of the England national football team in the 1986 FIFA World Cup? Source: "El Tec también fue sede de tres partidos mundialistas dentro del Grupo F de la Copa de México 86: Portugal contra Inglaterra; Inglaterra contra Marruecos, e Inglaterra contra Polonia."

- Comment: Is July 17 too long to hold for?
5x expanded by Raymie (talk). Self-nominated at 06:52, 14 May 2017 (UTC).
- Both hooks are of adequate length, though I'd opt for the alternative hook, since it's a more interesting and noteworthy premise. England's effort at the '86 World Cup, especially Lineker's performance, was pretty noteworthy at the time. Definitely meets the fivefold threshold - the article before was ~950 characters. After Raymie's expansion of the article on 14 May, it is now >5,700 characters. Content is good and interesting, adequately sourced, though two redlinks in the "Tenants" section of the article ought to be resolved. Image is CC BY 2.0, therefore clear of any copyright issues, and is recognisable as a stadium from a small size display. Nominator has a satisfactory QPQ. All good in my eyes. I can't say about what kind of timing DYK entries have, since I haven't read up too much on them, maybe another editor can help you out on getting the DYK scheduled for 17 July. - I just fixed the redlinks - this isn't an area I've written articles in before, so some of the article locations I needed to link were new to me. If July 17 is too far (which it probably is), June 3 (anniversary of the first World Cup fixture in the venue) is also an option. Raymie (t • c) 18:14, 16 May 2017 (UTC)
