Source: On 21 January 1980, Ernest R. Fatland’s obituary in the Capital Journal(subscription required) reported: "During the Great Depression of the 1930s, Fatland served on the Gillian County Debt Adjustment Committee, helping to persuade creditors to scale down their bills to save farmer’s from bankruptcy." Another, article in the Heppner Gazette-Times, dated 5 April 1934, says Fartland was "chairman of the Gillian County Debt Adjustment Committee…" (i.e. the organization’s leader).
Overall: This article has lots of citations at the end of the paragraph, causing WP:CITEKILL. Although not necessary, I recommend that the citations be spread out amongst the paragraphs and unnecessary sources be removed. Z1720 (talk) 01:07, 9 March 2021 (UTC)
