Inadequete use of inline citations to support the hooks

Entrambasaguas

[edit]
  • ... that the river Aguanaz in the small Cantabrian municipality of Entrambasaguas once drove 23 water mills, mined iron for cannons used by the Armada and has numerous Paleolithic era limestone caves....?
  • ALT1:...the small Cantabrian municipality of Entrambasaguas once had 23 water mills and mined iron for cannons used by the Armada ?
  • comment: my first DYK nomination.

  • Page is new and long enough, QPQ is not needed. I can't find copyvios either. There are, however, some issues concerning this nomination. First off, the original hook is too long, while the second one combines two completely unrelated factual tidbits. The part about the iron production for the Armada is probably the more interesting fact but it remains uncited. On that topic: there are some {{fact}} templates on the article page which need to be dealt with too. On the subject of sourcing: the article seems to make exclusive use of government websites. That may also be a bit too onesided. All in all: a lot of work to be done before this is ready for approval.—♦♦ AMBER(ЯʘCK) 18:39, 27 February 2016 (UTC)
Thank you for the feedback. I found no {{fact}} templates, please mention where you see one.
I simplified the hook even further in ALT2.Wuerzele (talk) 22:39, 27 February 2016‎
In the Administration section. But do also note that ALT2 suffers from the same problem as the other hooks: it lacks an inline citation.—♦♦ AMBER(ЯʘCK) 22:46, 27 February 2016 (UTC)
  • @Wuerzele: please work with the provided feedback here. We do need some sort of action soon, because time is running out.—♦♦ AMBER(ЯʘCK) 14:01, 3 March 2016 (UTC)
  • Despite pinging the nominator here and on his talkpage, the problems persist even after a week of providing the feedback. It's fair to say this nomination has failed due to inactivity.—♦♦ AMBER(ЯʘCK) 17:39, 5 March 2016 (UTC)
