Fossil Enischnomyia in Dominican amber
- ... that the bat fly Enischnomyia (pictured) is fossilized with Vetufebrus malaria in its gut? Source:Poinar, 2014 "Enischnomyia stegosoma (Figure 47) [98, 99]. - Comment: While the type descriptions of the two genera (Poinar 2011; Poinar & Brown, 2012) don't mention each other by name, the type specimen number is the same, and the association was specifically discussed by Poinar 2014

Interesting articles and hook! Both articles are new enough and long enough. Hook is supported with multiple sources. No copyvio issues. QPQ is done (a two-article hook). Image is freely licensed. However, the "description" section of Enischnomyia is completely unsourced. -Zanhe (talk) 22:04, 11 August 2019 (UTC)
