Emmanuel de Martonne

[edit]

Emmanuel de Martonne, taken before 1929

  • The article is new enough and long enough. The hook is not to long. I am afraid that the hook is not directly supported with the source which basically says: "the commissions on Poland and on the Romanian-Yugoslavian boundary" not "European territorial changes". I propose rewording of the hook. --Antidiskriminator (talk) 08:23, 6 March 2013 (UTC)
  • Okay, I will try to get to that later today. HueSatLum 12:59, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
  • I've added ALT1. (I'm not sure if "Romania and the Balkans" is redundant as Romania is mostly on the Balkan Peninsula.) HueSatLum 23:47, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
  • No. Romania is not mostly on the Balkans. Only small part of Romania (Northern Dobruja). It remained within Romanian borders without any changes after WWI. Borders of Romania which were changed based also on the work of Emmanuel de Martonne were between Romania and Hungary. That border is not on the Balkans. Therefore I don't think that Romaina and Balkans is redundant so I will continue my review soon. Thanks.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 10:22, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
The nominator reviewed another nomination. The article is within policy. I am uncertain about the image. Emmanuel is not clearly visible at small size (100 × 100px) but I guess it can be accepted. Good to go for ALT1. --Antidiskriminator (talk) 22:13, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
