Embassy of the Philippines, Warsaw
[edit]- ... that people questioned both the closure of the Embassy of the Philippines in Warsaw (pictured) in 1993 and its re-opening in 2009?
- Comment: Nominating the article along with Philippines–Poland relations, Polish settlement in the Philippines and Filipinos in Poland. It would be nice if the four may be grouped together in a single DYK block, if that is possible.

- - Long enough, new enough, quality is fine and hook checks out. Slight problem is as to the 1993 piece is supported by an editorial piece. The source can be used, but in the article at least it should attribute who did the questioning, just as the article covers who questioned the re-opening. Image is good to go as it is on Commons. - The thing here is that Amando Doronila doesn't reveal his sources. I could rewrite that part though so that it's as if he is the one questioning it (which seems obvious from the original column piece) if that would be better. --Sky Harbor (talk) 13:53, 5 October 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, that's exactly what needs to happen. Even if it is "The closing was questioned in an editorial piece by so and so." IT just has to attribute the questioning since an editorial can only be used to support the opinions of the writer. Aboutmovies (talk) 05:56, 6 October 2013 (UTC)
