Elisabeth Griffith
- ... that Elisabeth Griffith's sweeping 100-year history of the American equal rights movement has been compared to listening to Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start the Fire"? Source: From the New York Times Book Review re: Formidable (2022): "At times, the book's sheer scope is overwhelming, like listening to Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start the Fire" - a fire hose of information, names and actions, protests and pantsuits."

QPQ: - Not done
Overall: Article was 5x expanded within the last seven days, it's long enough, it has the sources it needs and the hook does too, and I think the hook is rather interesting, though it's more about Griffith's book than herself. I'll assume good faith for the paywalled New York Times article, and the other citations are verified. All that's left is the Quid Pro Quo review, so let me know when that's ready.
