I added a lot more citations to the article by copying them from the French article. I also decided to improve the hook a bit; see ALT2 for my new preferred hook. For the hook's citations, all of the sources can be found in the References section of the article. 5 says that Dmitrieff's father was a noble, and 5 is "Braibant 1993, Part 1, chapter 1«Empreinte», §8.", and Braibant 1993 is "Élisabeth Dmitrieff : aristocrate et pétroleuse". [76] explains that Marx sent Dmitrieff to the Paris Commune to report on events: "C’est le cas d’Elisabeth Dmitrieff, une jeune russe de 22 ans, qui était en quelque sorte l’envoyée spéciale de Marx pour rendre compte des événements au nom de l’Internationale". As for her fighting in defense of the Commune, the sources are Merriman 2014 p.188 and McClellan 1979 p.153. Both of them quote the same dispatch from an anti-communard Russian ambassador: "And indeed, on May 23, during the attack of the army in this quarter, Elisabeth Dmitrieff was seen behind the barricades, encouraging the federals in their resistance, distributing ammunition, and firing, while leading a gang of Mégères." If you think the original hook is better than ALT2, then the sources for Dmitrieff caring for the wounded are Merriman 2014 p.212 ("Elizabeth Dmitrieff was injured but managed to get away. When Léo Frankel also fell wounded, she saved him.") and Dalotel 1997 p.350 ("On verra à la mairie du XIe arrondissement, son leader, Elisabeth Dmitrieff, 'blessée elle-même', soutenant Franckel, gravement touché") --Bowlhover (talk) 23:22, 14 December 2021 (UTC)
